We see a close-up stack of colorful, loosely woven hammocks for sale at a market in San Salvador, the capital of El Salvador. You cannot, however, actually see that these are hammocks. We only see brightly colored cotton 4-inch stripes of light blue, yellow, hot pink, navy blue, mauve, red, orange, bright blue, and coral. The woven threads swirl and bend into multicolored patterns, waiting for hammock buyers to pass by.
